This afternoon (Thursday, June 23rd around 4:30 PM) we will do the next Plek release. You'll find a lot of tools for Admins in this release. These will help Admins monitor, compare and analyze Plek better. We also refined the groups page.
Monitor, compare and analyze
As of this afternoon, Admins can view statistic of virtually all components of Plek: views, posts created, comments and more.
You can view several statistics at once and you can also compare different periods to each other. Plek instantly indicates the increase or decrease during a period in percentages.
Insight into all automatically sent emails
Another new option for Admins is mail status: you can now keep track of your automatically sent emails (sent, opened or bounced).
Refined groups page plus a new functionality!
We implemented the following small improvements on the groups page:
- It was already possible to switch between viewing the group as a member or as a non-member. This switch button was a bit too 'in your face' though, so you can now access this functionality by clicking on the "..." button. The group Admin can also find the group settings there. We now also display the banner of the group in one size for both member and non-member view.
- When editing a group, it is now easier to see which options you did or did not select for your group.
- We now also display the ideal format for group banners, so you can easily upload a fitting image.
Upon request by many clients we now also added the option to add a shortcut in the right column of the group page, with a title, external link and image. For example, you can use this in your project group to create a link to project documentation stored in a Document Management System like SharePoint. Don't forget to click 'Save' at the bottom of the group page after you add a shortcut.
