Plek update: Working together, easier than ever
We are releasing an updated version of Plek today between 4 and 5 PM. We're introducing version control for documents, an even better-looking onboarding and two kinds of sub groups. This makes working together on Plek easier than ever!
Version control for documents
After the release each document will get its own document history. Any new version you upload will automatically become the latest version of the document. The document history makes it easy to view or restore an older version of a document. You can always adjust which version is listed as the 'latest' one. Furthermore, you can see which colleague replaced an existing document.
Of course we make sure all new users feel right at home on Plek - for example by means of the onboarding they see when they log in for the first time. For this release, we made the onboarding look even better than before. A crystal clear start on Plek for all new users!
And... how about a sneak preview of our next release? We want to help all Plek admins in getting everyone on board effortlessly. So in four weeks the admins will find out how we simplified the process of creating and editing the onboarding pages. Stay tuned!
Sub group members from outside the main group
When creating a sub group after the release, you get to choose who can join the group: do they have to be a member of the main group, or can users from outside the main group also join? For example, you can invite a colleague from a different department to a sub group about a specific marketing campaign without having to invite this colleague to the main group 'Marketing'.
You'll find extensive instructions on help.plek.co. Unfortunately they're currently only available in Dutch, but most articles contain a self-explanatory tutorial video. We regularly update the instructions. If you find anything that doesn't look right or is not correct (anymore), please let us know. We'll update it as soon as possible.
