Plek Social Intranet Features & Updates 15-12

We're releasing an updated version of Plek today between 4 and 5 PM. Besides making generic Plek improvements we also worked on improving Plek chat. Please find an overview of all our improvements for today below.

Generic improvements

The agenda block on the homepage was adjusted: adding events or calendar items is more attractive than ever! Moreover you can now immediately see how many members are in a group, right below the group members' profile pictures. You can also add group members more easily as of today: the plus icon is now much more user friendly.

Improvements of the chat on desktop!

We implemented some improvements for Plek chat on desktop. Going live today!

Messages from both sender and recipient used to be left aligned in our chat interface. As of today it will be much more clear who said what, which greatly improves readability of your chat conversations. Messages from the receiver are left aligned and messages from the sender are right aligned.

In addition, chat messages on desktop are now in 'bubbles'. This makes the desktop chat interface consistent with the app's chat interface.

The overall chat view is now less cluttered, and this greatly improves readability. Colleagues can now focus completely on the content of their conversations instead of getting distracted by less relevant details.
